   I installed wp with Bluehost/SimpleScripts. When I try to access my dashboard, I am redirected to my wordpress.com dashboard, and when I try to login, I am redirected to the wordpress.com login page.

   After looking through troubleshooting, I found this page: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL

   I did the following suggested fixes:
   ~I changed the "home" and "siteurl" in my phpMyAdmin,
   ~I set it manually in the wp-config.php file,
   ~I tried the relocate method - adding "define('RELOCATE',true);" in the wp-config.php file.

   However, the problem has not been resolved. I rebooted, and have waited about 17 hours before posting this query.

   My site is http://www.lifeinthemarriedlane.com. I purchased the domain through .com a while back, could that be part of the issue?

   Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

   more than likely you need to point the name servers at wordpress to bluehost's severs

   I want to keep my .com blog up and running until I'm reading to switch over to the .org site (which will probably take me a while to get ready).

   Your domain can only point to 1 server at a time.

   There should be an IP address you can use to develop your site on Bluehost. You can point the nameservers over when you're done, but you'll also have to modify the internal links and change the URLs when the change is made.

   Thank you so much, that worked beautifully. I uninstalled WP and then reinstalled with the IP address.
