   I think it happened upgrading to 3.02, restoring old version did not help

   I think u had problem with akismet plugin. Try to upgrade the akismet plugin......

   it sounds like maybe some of the Askismet plugin files got deleted or not completely copied over.

   I would try manually downloading Aksimet from the WP plugins site and then uploading the entire contents of that zip file (it will be a folder with files within the folder) to the server using an FTP program. The folder to upload into is /wp-content/plugins/

   See if that helps.
