   Any help would be very appreciated:

   I installed my new WordPress Blog via my approved Host, and it's up and live.
   But I can't login.

   It simply doesn't recognize the username or password that I created during the installation, and when I try to resend the password - it just refreshes the page and ignores me. No password reset email received.

   I've read everything I can find regarding this, and am just at a loss at this point.

   Thanks in advance for any help!

   The username should have been 'admin' and the password presented when you installed WP...

   There is only one solution, don't worry it's not as scary as it looks :

   Secondary advice : next time create a second non-public admin user, in case you lose memory of your current admin-password combo.

   turned out it was sabinou had it figured out.
   ended up being a glitch in my domain forwarding, too.
   i'm up and running now.
