Can’t Log In WP1.5

Am new to WP. Easily loaded WP and created a blog. But when I tried to re-enter I can’t log in. I get the ‘wrong login’ error msg. (this is a different error than the other topics have covered. I even tried downloading the fix for another error msg.)

[Already tried deleting cookies, reloaded includes and wp-admin files confirmed uname/pswd with config file webhost server: linux]

Any advice for this non-programmer will be greatly appreciated.
