my blog: http://heathermuse.com/blog was running fine, until yesterday when i tried domain mapping from godaddy, a new domain: musebaby.com. Suddenly I couldn’t log in to my wordpress admin anymore (my username is muse) and my blog is all messed up!

I’ve since changed my new domain to forward to my website (not my blog) but I still can’t log in to my wordpress account.

I am desperate as I have an ad coming up that I can’t change anymore that will land people on my messed up blog. Please help!

    Contact your hosts.

My website hosts? Isn’t this a wordpress issue? I should still be able to log in to my wordpress blog even if it isn’t working right, correct?

hmuse2 – I can help you if you’d like. Twitter: http://twitter.com/notagrouch or http://oscarstech.com/contact you shouldn’t have to contact your host although that would probably solve it too if you ask them to reset your admin password or give you a new username.

Thanks rakxzo, do you have an idea of what happened or what I need to do to solve this problem?

@rakxzo: support here happens here. Please do not encourage people to contact you privately as this may be considered a soliciting for work which is not allowed on these forums.

@esmi The type of answer you gave was really kind of useless in this case so I figured I’d help. I never solicit work from the forums as I know how these things work and I like to give back where I can. You can check with the OP… I never offered any paid solution, in fact I contacted her host on her belhaf and after a few back and forth emails, she was on her way.

The issue was affecting this person to a point where her site wasn’t working and I had time to offer help.

Perhaps next time you can offer an answer that can actually be used instead of “contact your hosts.”

Feel free to remove my links if they’re consider soliciting, I was just trying to help out.
