   myblog was fine now i cant log in to admin i enetrtied to log in using :
   http://www.dyerwrites.com/wp-login.php and the login username fails.
   i tried http://www.hotelsdocklandslondon.info/wp-login.php?loggedout=true
   and i get; The requested URL /wp-login.php was not found on this server.
   Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

   when i clik on the bolg link
   http://hotelsdocklandslondon.info/blog/
   the apreance is awkward,

   and i get this massage:

   Ooops...Where did you get such a link ?

   Server cannot locate what you are looking for !

   The Server tried all of its options before returning this page to you.

   404You are looking for something that is not here now.
   You can always try doing a search or browsing through the Archives.
   Don't loose your hope just yet.

   Posted as Not Found

   please help as i do not know what has went wrong , i did not make any changes in wordpress , this happend

   I've encountered that on my blog when i change the general settings for the Website address and the Blog address and when I save it viola my blog is a messed.... but i need to fix it so what i did i dig the code for the php code for it and finally i figured out the solution for it....

   First open a new browser and login to your cpanel account on your web hosting.

   Second look for the phpMyadmin and look again for the database used for the blog mostly likely it is wp_ for default.

   Third look for this wp_options table click it then click the Browse under this panel you will see data for it... first line is the one to be changed the siteurl as option_name and http:wwww... is the option_value

   Fourth click the Pencil Icon to edit it then a panel will popup then change the website address where the wp-admin folder is located then click go...

   Thats it... then refresh your blog and embraced your smile :)

   On my situation I accidentally change the link for http://www.wecostumizedweb.com/blog/ for both web address and blog address to http://www.wecostumizedweb.com

   So i have to change it back http://www.wecostumizedweb.com/blog/ the original place i upload the wordpress installation...

   OK im gone and have a nice day.... CHOW

   hi i folloed your oinmstructions and part of ny site theme came back but the rest of the links and posts are not accessible

   i still cant loginto my word press admin

   and additionaly how do we gwt the blog url to just be .info at end
   for examlpe for yours to just apear as http://www.wecostumizedweb.com
   intead of http://www.wecostumizedweb.com/blog

   I have the same problem..used Fantastico to install WordPress Bog. BUT I can't access the admin. I put in the User and PW and it seems to want to load...but can't or won't. I am a newbie and I mean A NEWBIE!! merling2000@yahoo.com
