    Try re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress 3.1.

    WordPress 3.1 - yes. Everything except the wp-content folder. You will need to use FTP (or whatever file management application your host provides).

    should i backup first ?

    You can do but you won't be touching the database during this upload.

    Hello Esmi

    I did it , however now i mustr edit the config file correct?

    In my hosting i see 1 folder public html and another www
    wich one should i follow ? (they seem to ahve the same content)
    so i guess i pick the one relevant and just name the below databases acordingly ?

    about the local host only my hosting can tell me right?

    ty

    // ** MySQL settings - You can get this info from your web host ** //
    /** The name of the database for WordPress */
    define('DB_NAME', '');

    /** MySQL database username */
    define('DB_USER', '');

    /** MySQL database password */
    define('DB_PASSWORD', '');

    /** MySQL hostname */
    define('DB_HOST', '');

    [No bumping. If it's that urgent, consider hiring someone.]
