   i've been workingon a custom theme from my local server, everything was fine. then i transferred the theme via FTP to my wordpress account/hosting, tried to log in, didn't work. but the website shows up (http://dunnsmarsh.org/here)

   Use your ftp client or the file manager in your hosts control panel to remove the custom theme directory. That should restore your live site to the default WordPress theme and let you back in. Then you can sort out the issues with your custom theme and give it another go.
