HC Custom WP-Admin URL
[resolved] Can't log in! (8 posts)

I installed the plugin and can't access ie. http://domain.com/mylogin where "mylogin" was used for the plugin at Settings/permalinks. 404 is returned now.

There's something wrong or I don't understand what is a correct login url now.

    HELP NEEDED!

Btw I tested in on 3 separate WP instances + http://mydomainsample.com/%postname%/ permalinks format. Same 404 error on each attempt to access provided WP-Admin page slug (even the one at your sample screenshot).

Anyway, if this start to work, it's gonna be one of the best security login plugin!

What version of WP are you using, and are you using any other plugin that does htaccess rewrites?

We've encountered this problem when permalinks are turned off, and currently are fixing the bug, but it should perfectly work if any permalink structure is turned on.

Wow that is what I call a lightning-bolt response :-)

I deactivated all plugins and also cleared my htaccess file to see if they have got something to do with the issue. Unfortunately it didn't change anything - 404 on any attempts to access ie. http://mydomain.com/securelogin

Using WP 3.5.1, if you wish I can provide my login details and site url via PM.

We would be really really grateful if you could provide us some login details so we can investigate.

You can email us at somewebmedia@gmail.com

    ok solution found! :-)

you must have these 2 lines inside your .htaccess file:

    # BEGIN WordPress

    # END WordPress

Otherwise WP won't be able to write additional entries into the file.
