   Hi There,

   I installed WordPress and it was working... I was getting errors with other php websites(phpMyAdmin) so I deleted FastCGI(dunno what it is).
   Everything broke.
   I reinstalled FastCGI.
   I've reinstalled my PHP to the newest version but still wordpress won't load.
   I'm hosting this on my machine through IIS.
   I have IIS5 and IIS6. I even downloaded APACHE and tried hosting with that but I get the same problem. When I enter a a page i.e http://localhost/wordpress/index.php it will try to download the file.

   Any help would be appreciated thanks.

   * I uninstalled my PHP this FastCGI and deleted my WordPress folder. I reinstalled everything using the Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 but still no success :-(*

   Sounds to me like your web server needs to be configured to process PHP files on the server, rather than see them as downloadable files.

   I solved my issue.
   I installed Xampp which just seemed to fix everything.
