I am using 2010 Weaver 1.4. My website is http://www.jayscottfit.com.

Visitors cannot leave a comment after reading posts. I have gone into the edit section of the post admin. area and made sure that “allow comments” is checked but it makes no difference.

Anyone have any idea’s on this.

    Thanks – Jay Scott

  • Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and deleting/renaming your WordPress .htaccess file. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

    Hi Esmi Theme Diva,

I’m new at this. I currently am not using the default permalink setting as you probably already know. I am using “custom” permalink and putting a bluehost address in there because that is who is hosting my website. If I remove bluehost and go back to default won’t I lost my host?

No! In fact, it’s the ‘bluehost’ part that’s totally destroying all of your permalinks.

I’m very flattered but there are plenty of other forum volunteers who could have given you exactly the same solution.

Glad to hear that you’ve got the problem sorted now. 🙂
