    Hi,
I've installed wordpress (org ?version 6.2) onto a private server account.
Wordpress works fine - i've logged in and can edit posts fine.
However i've tried to install the Stats PlugIn from the wordpress.org site.
I've transferred Stats version 1.3.2 onto the directory for wordpress.
    Wordpress has recognised it.

It then tells me that I can't activate it until I have an API key - and advised me to deactivate which I've done.

I've checked the e-mail that came at the time I set up the blog and there is no API key, just my username and password details.

How do I get the API key and how do I tell wordpress what the key is? Do I have to reinstall? Is the API key only available on WordPress.com - Does that mean I can't have statistics?

    Please help

    Justin
