Can't insert Metaslider on Home Page (4 posts)

    I am trying to insert the metaslider on the home page or at least insert a big picture the way you have it on the sample. I am doing it through the Impression-Lite options, but I don't see where is a space for image or for media.
    Is there a special way to set up the page so it can show that?

    Go to appearance and select "impressio lite options" and under the header options tab upload an image using upload logo. Just use an image that has the Dimensions: 1162 × 174 so it fills up the whole area. Prior to uploading use paint or some other prgm to edit to image if you want to add an actual logo or other text on top of the image. You can experiment and try different dimensions to see what looks best on your site. There's probably a different way of adding an image using code to the header but I haven't been able to figure that out yet. Hope this helps in the meantime.

    You have to add the metaslider shortcode in code editor.

    goto appearance: open file: home-layout.php

    look for this:
    ******************
    <!-- Create a slider with Meta Slider Plugin and insert the shortcode here -->
    <?php //echo do_shortcode("[metaslider id=341]"); ?>
    *********************
    Change metaslider code
    and remove the //

    it should work then,

    good luck

    Thanks goldeagle8 and mdelouwere for your help. Goldeagle8, I needed a logo on the header and then a big image, thanks for letting me know that you have to find out a way through code. I went the way mdelouwere suggested since my client wanted a sliding banner I added the metaslider and that solved the problem.
