   I can't insert images into posts or pages from the media uploader. This is all since the new update. I have disabled all plugins and reverted to the basic theme, but I keep having a issue where it locks up and won't let me select a photo. If I hit back in the browser it will take me back. I have tried in firefox, ie and chrome.

   Any thougths

   Do a manual update. Ensure that you updated ALL of the WordPress files.
   (Don't touch anything in your wp-content folder)

   ok folks I found my problem. It was a plugin from Altos Research
