   Hi Everyone,

   I am suddenly having a problem inserting images into my posts. I can upload it without a problem. when I click "insert into post," the uploader disappears like normal, but there's no image in the post. I've searched the help forums and tried multiple browsers, clearing the cache, reloading "wp-includes" and "wp-admin," and deactivating all my plugins but nothing seems to work. This wasn't an issue until today, and I have no idea what it could be.

   Are the images showing up in the Gallery?

   If they are try selecting them from there.

   Also make sure you click inside the post where you want the image inserted, otherwise it could end up at the bottom of the post.

   They are, and I did try that. no luck. any other ideas? Thanks for your help.

   Are you using the editor in visual mode or in HTML mode?

   Have you tried switching to the Browser uploader. I know your images are showing in the gallery, but it could be an uploader issue, or a flash issue(need to upgrade to latest version).

   Try the Browser uploader, if that works, then it's probably a flash issue.

   Or it could be a plugin interfering with the insert.

   updated flash and didn't help. tried browser uploader, no dice. deactivated all plugins. still not working. getting frustrated with wordpress...priceless. thanks for trying. any other suggestions?

   Try inserting the images manually, and see if they show up.

   If that doesn't work, shut down your system, reboot, clear your cookies, browser cache and all that, and try again.

   It's probably a server issue, but it doesn't hurt to clear out all the junk from your browser's cache.

   Something like that happened to me yesterday, but as soon as I deleted the draft and started adding a new post the problem was solved

    That reminds me, if you're working with a draft, and you click "Preview" then just refresh the preview you won't get an updated version. You have to close the preview and click preview every time you do an update to the draft.

    shut everything down, cleared cookies, etc. no luck.

    put the code in manually, and it worked! Now, how to get the regular upload process working again????

    bessho2222-I would delete the draft, but I'm working on a page, not a blog post.

    I notice that every time I try to load your site the progress bar says "Done"; However, the page is blank, and I have refresh the page to get it to load.

    Do you have some JavaScript or something in your post or elsewhere?

    Also I found this scragler on you page [last-posts nb="3"] When I tried to copy it I got most of the page even though I only highlighted this bit.

    There looks to be a video on there, have you tried removing the code that displays that?

    I'm seeing some widget in there "new TWTR.Widget".

    There's JavaScript as well, and some css down towards the bottom of your content div for the social media stuff.

    Well maybe not, it's not code, but it looks like it. Why is that there?!

    Put that closing tag on the paragraph before doing anything else.

    Better yet, assign your elements classes and style them in the style.css

    ok. got that business out of there. That was a shortcode from one of the plugins I deactivated. Still am having trouble uploading images into a post. The specific page I'm working on is http://jefflitmanmusic.com/blog/music

    I have no idea what's causing the problem.

    Give it a day, and see what happens. Til then insert your images manually.

    What type of images are you trying to post(jpeg,png,bmp)? WP has problems with some image types. I use jpeg with no problems.

    Have you changed the size of your images, by making them bigger? If your images are too big(too many pixels) WP might have problems.

    try to upload using other browsers like chrome ,opera
