Can't Import Content – Importer Undefined Function

    I’ve just installed a clean install of WordPress 3.8.1 and I’m recieving this error when trying to import an xml file with WordPress content:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_popular_importers() in /home/*******/public_html/wp-admin/import.php on line 33

    Does anybody have any advice on how to solve this issue?

    The rest of the site is working fine. I’ve tried both an FTP install and a softaculous installation and both present the same error.

    I look forward to resolving this problem! Thank you for your help in advance.
