can't hide 'new posts' and 'manage comments' under 'My Sites'

    hi, i can’t seem to hide ‘new posts’ and ‘manage comments’ under ‘My Sites’ in the admin toolbar at the top for my users. i’m on a multisite. i’ve tried everything (literally everything is checked off)! can anybody help, maybe i’m missing something??
