Can’t get wordpress running with IBServer

    Hello,
    I am using IBServer as my webserver. It’s a program that has Apache, PHP and MYSql all bundled up in one complete package. Problem is that I don’t know what to put in the database name when setting up wordPress. Whatever I put, it keeps saying that it doesn’t exist. Also, when using IBServer, what should I use for my username and passowrd?

    I create the database first, then run WP install.
    You don’t need to create anything *in* the database, it just needs a name and for your login/name/user to have permissions to use it.
    As for IBS .. sorry, can’t help there.

    Yes thanks, I got it working, it was just a setting in the database in IBServer. seems the username and password default to admin/admin.
    Time to figure out wordpress now that it’s running!
