I was trying to get my domain to point to wordpress without having to type /wp at the end of the address. So I deleted the /wp and now I get an error every time I try to login. Also, it jacked up the formatting of my site.

Any ideas how to fix it?

    Where are your wordpress files?
    In the root (/html)?
    In another directory (folder)?

    This is your blog: http://lifestoneruss.com/wp/
    This is your login: http://lifestoneruss.com/wp/wp-login.php

If you want to get rid of the "wp/", you have to move the WordPress files out of the "wp" directory (folder) and into the root directory (/html).
    See here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

Thank you for showing me how to move the files. The host did that for me but its good to know.

But I still cant login to the /wp/wp-login.php I dont know if its bc I deleted the /wp from the dashboard settings or if its the directory.

    Put the /wp back.
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL

Then either follow the moving WordPress directions, or use

Thats the thing. I cant login. It gives me an error page.

I think I may have to uninstall wp and reinstall. Then when I get my theme installed make a backup. If I wasnt such a noob I would have backed it up before.

There should be in the /html:
    wp-admin
    wp-content
    wp-includes
...and several single ".php" files including one "index.php"

If you actually read the Codex page, you'll see that there are multiple methods which do not involve having to login.
