    I'm having a dilemma with this yoga site where only the title appears but not the tagline, which would be helpful to search. I'm using the standard Twenty Eleven header.php code which is this:

    <title><?php
    	/*
    	 * Print the <title> tag based on what is being viewed.
    	 */
    	global $page, $paged;

    	wp_title( '|', true, 'right' );

    	// Add the blog description for the home/front page.
    	$site_description = get_bloginfo( 'description', 'display' );
    	if ( $site_description && ( is_home() || is_front_page() ) )
    		echo " $site_description | ";

    	// Add the blog name.
    	bloginfo( 'description', 'name' );

    	// Add a page number if necessary:
    	if ( $paged >= 2 || $page >= 2 )
    		echo ' | ' . sprintf( __( 'Page %s', 'twentyeleven' ), max( $paged, $page ) );

    	?></title>

    So how would I fix this?

    the code outputs the tagline only on the front page and posts page:

    // Add the blog description for the home/front page.
    	$site_description = get_bloginfo( 'description', 'display' );
    	if ( $site_description && ( is_home() || is_front_page() ) )
    		echo " $site_description | ";

    remove the conditional statement to have the tagline on all (web) pages.

    make sure you have some entry for the tagline, and check that your seo plugin in not interfering.

    what is the full code of header.php of your theme?

    what happens if you deactivate the seo plugin?

    If I deactivate SEO Ultimate, I get only the tagline on the homepage while all other pages I get the title and that's followed by a | and then the tagline.

    I'm starting to think it has something to do with SEO Ultimate.
