Hi. I've read thru everyone elses posts about not being able to get RSS to work, and as much as I've tried (7 hours straight) I still can't make mine work. Would someone please check out my site at http://www.myteenieblog.com and see if you can tell whats wrong? I am sooooo cofused at this point.

I tried adding my feed to my Yahoo 360, and everytime that I do it tells me that "Error: We were unable to fetch the feeds you requested. Please check the URLs and try again". The URL I'm using is http://www.myteenieblog.com/feed/ which looks like it should work, but it doesn't.

If anyone can help me figure this out, you'll have my undying gratitude. I'm a totally newbie and have no idea how to do anything on WP.

Neither of them work either, sir. And when I click the "Entries (RSS)" at the bottom of the page, it brings up a page not found.

I click 'Entries RSS', my feedreader opens and I can add feed:http://www.myteenieblog.com/feed/ without any problem.

I also see the correct information when I click the two links Kaf posted.

Try clearing your browser cache, then pressing crtl+f5 when you are on your blog, then click the RSS link.

Thank you very much. I'm still not sure what the problem is, but it does work with most everything...except Yahoo 360. Leads me to believe it may be there problem, not mine. Thanks for checking it out for me.

I have been having a similar issue for the past 18 hours.

My RSS is not working - http://blog.thedemocraticdaily.com/?feed=rss2

It has had issues off and on since I started my blog 1 month ago.

PamelaLeavey, actually that's a somewhat different issue: a bug in the version of WordPress you're running. Upgrading to the current version will fix it.

Have a read there, and if you are unsure, post back.

Thanks... This looks to be something that will take quite a bit of time and concentration which I don't have at this time. In the meantime is there no other fix for the RSS on the version I am using?

I don't know the reason, but when my RSS suddenly went out once, I deleted my last post and it was fine. I re-entered the post, and it went down again. I guess it was something within the post itself.

I've actually had a problem with my RSS since I started my blog alittle over a month ago. It seems to go down daily for a few hours. This latest outage started last night about 10 pm pst.

Repeating earlier question -- Is there another fix for this in the interim of upgrading to the newer version?

The problem is a bug in the WordPress source, and the best fix is to upgrade (as this takes care of a number of other potential problems and security issues as well); but if you're willing to perform some editing in the source:

    http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/1323

Or you can try replacing wp-blog-header.php with the one for 1.5.1.1:

    http://trac.wordpress.org/file/trunk/wp-blog-header.php?rev=2600&format=raw

I'd recommend making a copy of your current wp-blog-header.php in case things go south.

(Note to other members: do NOT replace your wp-blog-header.php with the one linked above if you have 1.5, or any version above 1.5.1.1).
