I have more than 1,000 spam comments on my website that were posted yesterday. Normally I just press the spam button against each comment, but unfortunately that doesn’t appear to be working as the comment just pings back. Also it appears to be blocking all further comments coming in.
Please could someone advise me how to get rid of this. I have tried to sign up for Akismet, but I’ve had to contact them as something appears to have gone wrong with the signup.
