can't get rid of bottom margin or padding (6 posts)

    I can't get rid of the margin (or padding?) at the bottom of my container. I want my content to go all the way to the bottom of the page. You'll see what I mean if you go to http://www.rosasharn.com and scroll to the bottom. I tried changing all of the margin and padding values in the body and the container. Nothing worked. I'm feeling frustrated and would really appreciate some help. Thank you.

    Add these to your style.css:

    html {height: 100%;}

    body {

    height: 100%;

    #container {

    min-height: 100%;

    and put this before </head>:

    <!--[if lte IE 6]>
    <style type="text/css">
    #container {height: 100%;}

    Srikat, thanks. It sort of worked. It definitely made the container go to the bottom, but now there is tons of extra white space at the bottom. Not just to extend it to the height of my browser either. It becomes scrollable when it doesn't need to be. I don't know if that makes sense. Any thoughts? I really really appreciate that you're helping me with this becuase I was getting really frustrated. Thank you!

    Hi Lauren
    Look for .post it has a margin bottom of 50px.
    That should fix this problem, I see others.

    I wasn't able to figure out how to make the footer hit the bottom of the page before I was ready to move on so I gave up. Thank you everyone for your help and I'd still appreciate feedback on my site. I'm sure the stylesheet needs cleaning up but so far the site looks ok in IE and firefox on Windows. Thanks!
