• I downloaded and installed the new wordpress, and after installation (which went fine as near as I can tell), I went to log in, and I couldn’t get into the admin. I’d enter the username and password, and hit the button and it would take me right back to the login page. Then I maunally went up, assuming I was already logged in, and typed /wp-admin/ to get to the page in the admin section. I got to the dashboard, and hit the options tab, and was instantly redirected to the login page AGAIN. This time my address bar had a built in redirect, so I thought, hey, maybe this time I’ll log in and it will work. But it didn’t. Just stayed right there on the login page.

My next idea was that something I had downloaded was corrupted or something. So I did an installation from my server (an automated installation kind of like Fantastico does), and that worked for about 8 hours, and now it’s back to that can’t login bull again.

I have used WordPress on a number of occasions prior to this, and have never had a problem like this with it. I am totally stumped here.

If anyone has ANY idea what might be causing this, I’d be forever greatful.

    Thanks,
    Erin
