I my site to 2.2 today, then upgraded a site for someone else (did mine first, to see if I could identify any problem bits)
My own upgrade went quickly and well, so I proceeded to take on the other site.
It appears everything loaded successfully, but I can't log in to her upgrade page. When I ask for a lost password re-send, every possible combo of user name and e-mail gets rejected. (I've gone through all my old notes and e-mails for her site. Nothing works)
I suspect I overwrote some log-in info a long time ago.. but how in the world can I dig myself out?
thanks.
Laurie
Thank you for replying, and sorry for not putting enough helpful detail in the first time around.
I did try the ...Resetting_Your_Password link before posting.
It keeps bouncing back to the page that asks for just user name and e-mail address.
I saw the phpmyadmin doc before posting as well. I just had the feeling I could do some real harm there. Would a host be able to help walk through that?

this is actually what I wanted to point you to -- its basically the same process as what's described in the second link I pasted.
As for what a host is able to or willing to do -- thats entirely dependent upon your host.
Yes, that one is less daunting. Too late to safely attempt it tonight without making a mess, but I will try it in the a.m.
Thanks.
its actually easier than it looks, especially if you have cpanel. :)
G'luck!
