The developer has stopped supporting this app unless you send him a contribution. That goes contrary to everything related to open source ethics. Therefore, despite a good ap, it gets 1 star from me. I refuse to donate to a project that I can't get working in the first place.

There appears to be a conflict between the ap and WordPress now, which interferes with authorization on facebook.

    The error is as follows:

[sensitive data redacted] — Mod edit

It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

    UPDATE:
Now using the plugin on another WP website and it is functioning well. Raised my rating to three stars. Still miffed that the developer won't provide support until after one donates. Still thinking about whether I'll donate or not.

Sending you to another forum is not equivalent to asking for money. If you had a quick look at the forum you could have seen that I have answered litterally thousands of questions and believe me I would like that everybody had donated a dollar.

One of the reasons the forum exists is that I cannot moderate messages on wordpress.org and actually your message above badly needs moderation, because you have published a quite sensitive link. I could retrieve a Facebook access token with it and publish to your Facebook wall. And the sad thing is that even you cannot delete the link anymore.

Hmm. the plugin is not working on my other site either. Looks like it works, but when I tried some test "likes" and "shares" the buttons won't open. Comment box doesn't work either.

I am thinking the plugin is incompatible with Jetpack. Got no error messages, but it certainly doesn't work. Both sites have jetpack on them, but the first site was working with Add a Link before I added jetpack.

The error message in my first post came because I have WP installed in a subdomain and the plugin couldn't find it. fixed that with the index.php file, but the plugin still wouldn't work even though it authorized.

I like your fb links better than jetpack's. Wish the two could play together nicely.

Thanks for redacting my fb information.
