I am not very good at adding widgets and I’m having a lot of trouble getting my facebookfeed to show up on my page.
When I installed the widget JSL3 Facebook feed and tried to fill out all the spacec right the only thing that shows up on my page is the error message:
OAuthException: (#100) Tried accessing unexisting field (from) on node type (Page)

Can anybody tell me what I’m doing wrong??

    My homepage is labradoodle.nu

Did you create a Facebook App for the plugin? If so, did you get an access token after you clicked “Save Changes” on the settings page for the plugin on your WordPress site?

Im getting the same error as above:
OAuthException: (#100) Tried accessing unexisting field (from) on node type (Page)

I set up the app as instructed with facebook, got an access token from facebook and added the widegt but i just get a blank feed with this error at the top.
(the feed is supposed to be to a page I have on facebook not my own ‘wall’ — dont know if this makes a difference)

What Facebook ID are you using?

    Hi,

The pages is facebook.com/ecoeye12 so I tried using that and also tried using just the facebook id number for that page.

(I took down JSL3 temporarily yesterday evening as it just left a white block with an error message)

The id is working for the current (temporary) facebook feed but Id prefer to use your JSL3 as Ive seen it on other sites, not sure what Im doing wrong

The only way I could replicate the error was by putting a question mark after your Facebook ID. For example, on the settings page for the plugin, I entered the following into the Facebook ID box:

    172343776306627?

After, I clicked “Save Changes” I got the exact error you are getting when I viewed the widget. Can you make sure there are no extra characters mixed in with your Facebook ID on the settings page for the plugin. The only thing that should be in the Facebook ID box is the following:

    172343776306627

    Hi Takanudo,

I was working on another project for a few weeks so have only gotten back to working on the website now.
I re-entered the Facebook id and checked that there were no spaces or extra characters and it IS working now.
I didnt see any extra characters the last time but there could have been a space etc that I didnt notice
Its working fine now http://www.earthhorizon.ie/ , I need to change the background/text colours etc but can take care of that fairly easily.

Thanks for all your help and apologies for the delay in replying.
