My website seems to be loading correctly, but whenever I log in and try to go to Site Admin, all it does is reload the web page. I can't get into my Site Admin. I checked my error log and this is what I'm getting:

[Wed Apr 19 14:23:55 2006] [crit] [client 68.202.180.131] (13)Permission denied: /home/catgirl/public_html/wp-admin/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable

I'm new to all of this so I'm clueless as to how to fix this problem. I do know I changed all my htaccess files permissions so that it shouldn't be having a problem reading it.

I don't know where to go from here.

your .htaccess .. is it chmod'd to something less than 644?

if so, chmod it back to 644.. that what it needs to be to be usable/readable to the web server.

aditionally, wp-admin needs to be chmod 755

Thank you so much! It worked and I'm back into my site admin.
