Hi everyone I have a client site that was working fine, then I went to log in today and got the "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page" error. The actual site works ok, and it appears I am actually logged in as it has my user name on it, but when I try to go to the dashboard I get the error. I have seen some discussion on this topic but all workarounds appear to require some programming skill, which I don't have. I was going to reinstall but I think that means I will lose all my content / custom styles.

Posted 1 year ago #what did you change? lol... either you have a role management plugin working to lock you out or you were editing the database or something.
it'll take sql code and a little bit of mysql knowledge to fix it or try this plugin from mark -
Posted 1 year ago #Hi Chuck the only thing I did was reset the password because I forgot it. As soon as I logged in with the new password I got the error. Could there be a file I could replace to correct that?

Posted 1 year ago #Hi again I did the force upgrade and now I can get into the dashboard, but most of the dashboard isn't there! Only my user profile is accessible ...
