  • Dear wpNoob 2012,

First make sure your webserver is running WordPress 3.6 or higher.
Make sure jquery is loaded! Very important

Install the plugin via ftp / web installer ( I assume you have done that )

When the plugin is installed, search for this icon:

    View post on imgur.com

Click on it, and you will see options to add logo’s.

    View post on imgur.com

In the menu, you can view all your logo’s, add new logo’s, generate a shortcode (which you need to insert in to a post, you can also preview your logo carousel here) Categories and Settings.

So the only thing you have to do is upload some logo’s (of the correct size, 190 x 46 as an example and generate a shortcode and put it in a post!

    That’s all.

Follow the installation instructions on the plugin page.
If you can’t get it work. Please tell me where you get stuck.

    @mark
You are mistaking my plugin with another one.

when I click on the logos menu, Yes. I see the options; and I click “Add New Logo” the only thing listed under the “LOGO” heading is a links which reads “Set Featured Image”. When I click that and upload an image, I see nothing indicating the image that I uploaded. So I click PUBLISH (because that’s the only other button on the screen). Then what do I do? Is that even the right order to do things in? How do I know what images are uploaded? Where is the VISUAL of what’s happening? This is VERY confusing to say the least.

@mark, where do I go to see if jquery is loaded? Although I suspect it is, as I believe it is used elsewhere in the site.

Maybe this will help you a bit:

    1. Add a logo. Give it a title and choose and set a featured image.
    2. Add more logos if you want.
    3. Goto “Manage Carousels” and copy the shortcode and place it in a post.

You can add more carousels on the Carousels page. Add logos to carousels from the Logo Edit page.
Manage Carousels on the “Manage Carousels” page. On that page you will find also the shortcode or PHP function needed to display the Logo Carousel.

Check if jQuery is loaded by checking the console on your site. You can access the console by pressing F12 in your browser and choose the “Console” tab. Check if there are any errors.

Be sure you are using WordPress 3.6 or newer and PHP 5.3 or newer.
It could be an other plugin is breaking Kiwi Logo Carousel. Try deactivating some plugins.
