   I looked in my profile but my API key is not there and I need it for my stats package. Any suggestions where I can find my key?

   Assuming you are talking about the WordPress stats package the API key is available in your WordPress.com account profile, which is different then your WordPress.org profile.

   Sign up or login to your WordPress.com account (again, different then your support forums account) and click on the profile link (located on the far right) there. You will see a section near the top that says:

   Your Profile and Personal Options
   Your WordPress.com API key is: xxxxxxxxxxx. Don't share your API key, it's like a password.

   Can an API key used for two different sites?

   I have a blog with a wordpress domain and can easily find my API there. But I have my own domain and cannot find an API for that site.
