can't find home page in WP

Sorry if I didn’t know where to look here, but:

The WP site I inherited shows 2 links below the sliding doors, both called home; the first one is for the page which the URL displays, the second is for the ONLY published page in the WP interface.

The only reason I can think of for the first not showing in the interface is that it’s from an old domain being forwarded. If this is any clue, I have several logins for the old site’s WP; two of them say wrong password, but the other two just revert to the login screen with no error message, so I suspect a redirect.

Any thoughts on deleting the old page? I couldn’t find anything like <li class=”page_item “>“>Home
