Can’t Enter Dashboard

I cannot enter a blog that I own. I am assuming that it is clogged somehow with comment spam.

When I go to log in… it logs me in, however I can’t enter to access the dashboard as the page take minutes in attempts to load, but never gives me access to the dashbord.

My Internet connection is speedy, so I know it’s not me.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be and how I can fix it?
