Can't edit the slug (5 posts)

I'm having problem to get my slug edited to 2013.

Every time I update it will become 2013-2. May I know what's wrong?

As far as I know if I have the same slug, in this case 2013, I will get the slug named 2013-2. But I had checked and no slug as 2013.

    Can somebody please guide?

    Thanks!

2013, a year date, is a default page (as used by the archives template typically)...use '2013-is-now'... not just '2013'

    Hi Seacoast,

But previously I was able to set 2011 and 2012 as my site's slugs.

    Here's the example: http://www.singpetra.com/media/photo-gallery/2012/january-2012/

    Is this just revised?

Nope..what likely was occurring then was the use of the permalink that lists the year-then the post...have a read (please):

I don't quite get it. Isn't permalink for post only? I'm actually editing the slug of page but it permits not.

I would like to create a page called "2013" under photo gallery page. But all it gives is 2013-2.
