    Hi,

Every time I visit the editor to edit the html, this is the error message I get

"You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information."

I have visited the codex page, but didn't quite understand what needs to be changed in which file.

Some help with this will be really appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Ekta

Change the permissions on the your themes folder in the wp-content/themes directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767 or 777.

I'm sorry, esmi, but if you could help, I really need that broken down further.

I read through the codex "Changing_File_Permissions" but have trouble understanding it. My site is hosted via NetworkSolutions, so I can view files via their FileManager, but when I right click, as recommended in the codex under "Using an FTP Client," I don't see anything about file permissions.

Thanks for any further help you can offer.
