hi,
im trying to edit the permalink of blogposts or pages and its not working. i click edit and then try to edit the words but its not responding at all. whats happening? what am I doing wrong?

where can I submit a print screen so you can see it?

You can't post images here. Just tell us what the permalink was and what you wanted to change it to.

for instance:
Permalink: http://dreameurotrip.com/budget-your-trip/ and there's Edit, View Page, Get Shortlink options to its right, I click edit so I can change it to:
http://dreameurotrip.com/budget-your-euro-trip/
and nothing happens. no response whatsoever. how can I edit the permalink?

Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

ok. ill do that. but what if I really need the plugin that causes the problem?

also, the insert/edit link in the editor is not working. I dont know why. I click on it and same thing, no response. Is this a plugin issue too? So I just deactivate everything first?
