   Hi,

   I've been stuck using 2.9 ever since 3.0 and above has came out because of a weird permalinks issue. Basically, when I go to edit a permalink and customize it, nothing happens. Clicking the "edit" button does nothing.

   Have went through all the standard practices: Disabled plugins, disabled SEO options in my theme, and made sure the .htaccess file was correct.

   Was told by a few people that it could be a problem with my web host. Contacted them and they couldn't figure it out and had not a single other customer report the issue. Starting to wonder if it's a unique problem as there's nothing on Google or anywhere about this.

   Any help would be much appreciated.

   Hi

   I'm having exactly the same problem!

   Can't work out what's going on also. Very frustrating.

   I figured out the issue a few weeks ago. Turned out to have to do with my theme. Unfortunately, there were no updates for it so I had to find a new one which actually ended up being a blessing in disguise as the new theme is far better.
