   Just launched first WordPress site and got a comment that doesn't show in the administration nor does it show in the database.

   It's the first comment @ http://laptopia.co.uk/?p=354

   As admin there is no edit comment link and the reply link doesn't function as well.

   Any ideas on how to remove this?

   Hmmm looking into it... looks like the user name of the tweeter account!

   It is the twitter link... How as I've not made the tweet? :S

   That looks like it was brought in from Twitter. Are you using any plugins to include twitter tweets in your comments?

   Have these two activated:

   Share Google , twitter , facebook and social sharing
   &
   WordSocial

   Thought they are one way only - posts from the site, not either direction?

   *** Update: Wordsocial is linked in with Twitter.

   Yeah, those'd be it, I think. Check those plugins and make sure they don't include a bit where they insert tweets as comments.

   Not sure how its happened, but it is a link from Twitter...

   Strange how it can't be edited or deleted.

   Anyway, glad its not spam :)
