If you're talking about the first page that visitors see, and you haven't create a static home page, you won't see it as a page in your Dashboard. What are you trying to edit?
I am trying to change what I have written there and pictures. It is the first page that people see, and I a have a "button" called "Home" that take people to the Home page that I want to edit. This page shows up in my blog but not as a page in my dashboard. My site is

Thank you!
I tried following the instructions for creating a static front page which I called home. I now have a home page that I can edit. However, when I go to my blog there are two pages called "Home." They are identical. When I to administration panels > pages, only 1 home page shows up.
Bottom line: 1 home page in the administration panel and 2 home pages on the blog.
Due to the differences between the free hosted blogs at wordpress.com and the free self-hosted and self-installed version of WordPress supported here, I recommend that you ask in the wordpress.com support forums:
Hey Guys,
It took me two days of following everyone else’s advice but I found the answer to the 2 “Home” tabs on the top nav bar.
On my theme (intrepidity) there is an option to hide the home tab on the top nav bar. You might look for the same option on your themes.
I found it in WP-Admin, left side bar, last item. The MY THEME option. Select the settings option from the dropdown menu. The option to hide “home” on the nav bar was the last option on the page after the copyright date prompt.
I hope this helps some of you!
