Help, I cannot drag and drop my widgets to the sidebar. I have read through the old posts here and nothing so far has worked. I have deleted any plugins that were installed since before it broke to no avail. I have cleared the cache and don't believe that it has to do with my host due to the fact that my other site is working fine.
As a note, I get this error when I attempt to open the "Menus" tab on the Appearance menu.
Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/ru4given/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 433
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
- increasing the memory available to PHP?

I have the same exact problem and i have made all steps you mentioned here with no luck
