   I just started with WordPress yesterday.
   For every theme I try to download through the add themes button I get the follow message:

   'Warning: touch() [function.touch]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10204 is not allowed to access /tmp owned by uid 0 in /var/www/vhosts/drinkbritain.com/httpdocs/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 184

   I don't know what it means or what to do! can anyone help?

   May need to resort to manually installing themes and plugins.

   See Themes and Managing Plugins.

   Also the plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/core-control/ can help determine what transports are available for theme/plugin install/updates.
