Can't double space in my posts OR blog (5 posts)

I don't know if its my theme, or css or what but when I write a post and I put like 2 spaces, even 5 spaces between paragraphs, it only recognizes as one space.

Also when I align my text to the left (default), it shows up as "justified" so the text looks kinda stretched.

Same thing happens when i use the "text-widget".

How can I fix this, do I need to modify my css file or my theme?

First problem is proberly one of the WordPress filters, have a search regarding autop (i think off the top of my head).

Regarding the second problem it certainly sounds like a stylesheet related issue, but i'd need a link to help further...

Although the easy way to find it, is to open the file(style.css) and just do a search for "justify" , i doubt you'll have this on many elements (unless you use it a whole lot), so you should find where it's defined pretty quickly..

    I am using this theme

    http://www.wpnow.com/demo/#elements

see how all the posts and comments are justified and that there are no double spaces between paragraphs.

DO I change something in the CSS?

Hmmm, actually I found the justify thing on the CSS... but that leaves the double space

Search the forum mate, it's the WordPress filter ... autop.. (sorry been a while since i've read a related topic)..

You could just put a bigger margin on your paragraphs...

If you're specifically wanting extra line spaces... you could try the old trick of using...

some text some text some text some text some text some text

some text some text some text some text some text some text

translates into a space in HTML terms.. and it use to work for making new lines (not sure if it still does).

It might not work, just a suggestion.. :)
