   I updated my WP install to 3.3.2 and when I went to the dashboard I was greeted with a "Welcome to your new WordPress site!" welcome box, and an option to dismiss the message in two locations, upper right and at the bottom of the page. Neither option would allow me to dismiss the welcome box. I have tried on multiple computers, using many different browsers. Any help is appreciated.

   If using a cache plugin or technique, try clearing your cache. Also clear your local browser cache. If that does not work, re-install WordPress manually carefully making sure you do not affect the wp-contents folder or other required files (and make sure you do the backups first).

   I cleaned and deleted the cache plugin, as well as my local browser cache (as I said this happened on multiple computers and browsers, so that isn't the issue). I then re-installed wordpress, and am getting the same error - can't dismiss the welcome box!

   I reinstalled it manually and automatically - neither worked

   UPDATE: I disabled all of the plugins and was able to dismiss the welcome screen
