can't delete the menu item 'log in' / 'log out'

Hello,
After we used the plugin successfully we need to delete the menu items ‘log in’ and ‘log out’ again which the plugin ‘SimpleModal Login’ created. They’re appearing where ever we have a menu.
But somehow this will not work anymore. I can deactivate it or delete it, but the menu items are still remaining.can someone please help us?
