After upgrade to 2.5 version of WP I can't delete unused tags. Manage->Tags->select tags and click Delete button. WP reports that tags were deleted, but actually, nothing gets changed. Also I have 2 "empty" tags, without any names. I can't neither edit then neither delete. Any ideas, anybody here experience such problems?

seriously, the more I read about 2.5, the more I just can't believe someone slapped a gold label on it and released it into the wild.

Posted 4 years ago #:-), I think it's not too bad, there are few glitches, but generally upgrade went pretty well for me. Just need to resolve a few issues...

have you tried one of these tag management plugins to see if they work in 2.5? - its not a fix exactly, but it might be a workaround until the devs stop rocking in a corner and get back to coding the next version ;)

Posted 4 years ago #I looked over plugins repository and couldn't find any other tags manager which would be compatible with 2.5. So, I'm stuck here, will have to dig the code.
