Like so many others with problems recently, I just upgraded to 2.2. I can't delete a comment from the Comments tab. I have to go to Edit in each individual comment to do so.
Here are screenshots of what happens when I try to delete straight from the Comment tab:

"During" Deleting
It goes through the normal red fading as if it were actually deleting the comment, then it goes to this:
After Deleting
Then it just stays stuck on that last screenshot and upon refreshing the page, the comment shows up again just like the "Before Deleting" screenshot.

Even with the pretty diagrams I made, no one responds?

I am having this same issue, except the Comment disappears and then on Refresh it reappears! Help!
I'm using 2.3 and I just started having this problem now, in the ajax deletion of comments, it looks like it's deleting, but the comment doesn't really go away, and on refresh there's the comment I just deleted.
Is there a fix for this yet? I see it was reported 4 months ago.
Hi, I am facing similar problems with one of my new blogs -- can't delete comments and can't delete posts. But I've managed to resolve the problem.
This is the process I'd go through again if I ever come across such a problem: Log on to the blog host's control panel (CPanel), click MySql Databases, choose the database of the "faulty" blog, click "Check DB". Then after Check DB is done, click "Repair DB".
I don't know about other blogs but this solution works for me. -- Jaxon S
