   I asked this beofore, but didn't get an answer, maybe it was in the wrong place. Anyways, I can't delete anything from my blog, themes, blog posts, media, authors etc. Well, I can delete plugins, but I have to use the drop down menu. But I can't delte images from my library or empty my post trash.

   I just get my 404 page, I've tried uninstalling/deactivating all my plugins. That didn't help, also I installed wordpress on a sub domain and the same thing still happens. I thought it was my theme, but I switched it and it still happens.

   So I'm not sure what to do, I'm new to all this. I installed wordpress with Fantastico so maybe something went wrong. Or maybe I need to change some permissions? Idk, any ideas?

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

   - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

   I am having the same problem with not being able to delete images in a new installation of wordpress with no plugins.

   anyone have a solution. Also some plugins could not be deleted as well in the prior installation. I have a feeling that this will have a similar result here.
