  • I tried to create a link to a book on Amazon complete with an image, but I received the following error message:

    Not Acceptable
    An appropriate representation of the requested resource /twins/wp-admin/rcm.amazon.com/e/cm…</td> <td>Twins Links:</td> <td></td> <td align=’center’>Yes</td> <td align=’center’>Yes</td> <td><a href= could not be found on this server

This message occurs in a window in the URI section of the link in the Manage Links page. However, none of the typical options are present to the right, namely what category to assign it, and the edit and delete options. How can I get those options so I can delete the link and start over?

    Thanks

I should add, here’s a link to my site: http://wyoung.net/twins/index.php

and I am trying to delete the Grant entry under Twins Links.

First the link: For links that do contain complex code, I would not use the links manager. It is probably better just to edit the sidebar directly and put the link in there.

Deletion: If you really cannot get in using the options screens, you could use phpmyadmin to delete the link. Do you have that, and if you do are you okay with that ? If not, I’ll step you through it here.

I have no idea what phpmyadmin is so I probably don’t have it. I would be very grateful for any assistance walking through it.
