[resolved] can't create public_html (7 posts)

I just recently upgraded to 3.0 and it looks cool. However, every time I try and install a plugin or some other add on, I get a long slow process followed by "can't create public_html" then can't get anything reinstalled. I then try and re-install 3.0 automatically and either get a different error that makes me have to re-install manually or the same error.

    Anyone else with this issue?

What file permissions should I use?

Settings for public_html are presently at 755 and I never changed them from when I was in 2.9.2

Seems to have resolved, but I'll check back in if it is another problem.

I also got this problem. Using WordPress 3.0.4. Many people say we have to delete upgrade folder and create new folder with the same name. And then, set permission with 777. But, It didn't works for me. Any solutions ?
