According to help topic U09 How can I add a link to an existing post?
"Change the post status temporarily to draft, update the post and publish the post again."
Does this not work for posts that had a link to Facebook but the link got deleted on the Facebook side? I accidentally deleted one of my recent links (picked the wrong one of multiple posts).
I have tried changing the status to draft, as this help topic suggest, but republishing it doesn't create a new link.
I have also tried:
- deleting the link (result = error message)
- checking and unchecking "do not link" and performing updates (result = nothing happens)
Anybody know a way to get this to work? Somewhere the plugin must think that there is still a link.
How about a simple checkbox selection on existing posts that says "Create new link to Facebook"?
